The mission of Bartow Middle School is to ensure that each student be provided the opportunity to achieve his/her academic and social potential by the implementation of all-inclusive learning experiences and through the promotion of respect for individual differences and the understanding of responsibility for all involved.

  • To submit photos for possible use in the yearbook, click here or click the Yearbook link on the left of this page.
  • Effective Monday 10/19/09, students will not be allowed to carry backpacks, bags, or purses that are larger than 18.5" x 16" - School-appropriate bags are available in the main office for $2.00 each.
  • Students are required to wear a belt if their garment has belt loops. Effective Monday 10/19/09, students not wearing a belt will receive an infraction.

Scholarships Available

The Polk Education Foundation currently has four open scholarship applications on line for 8th-12th graders. Students must qualify for free/reduced lunch, be a US citizen/legal resident, attend Polk County public schools, and have good grades, good attendance and good behavior. Counterfeit Money Alert

In an effort to reduce the circulation of counterfeit U.S. monies, the school district will no longer accept any $50 or $100 bills at any school-sponsored events. We apologize for any inconvenience, but ask that you support this initiative. Please plan accordingly when you attend our events. Thank you.
