Accelerated
Reader, or more commonly known as AR at Carlton Palmore, has become a great
incentive to gear students up for reading. The program works in conjunction
with STAR and gives each student a unique point goal.
At the end of every nine weeks, we look at their percentage and points and access if they have attained that goal and met the percentage requirement. All students attaining this goal are celebrated in our AR Party. There are four levels...
1st Nine Week Incentive for AR Recipients:
All 1x AR Recipients receive an AR T-Shirt

Requirements: Student must have a Test Avg. of 85% and accumulate POINT goal based on STAR test
AR Award Ceremony:
AR Medal awarded to one student per grade level with the highest Test Avg. Percentage and highest Points Earned
