Principal’s Message

As principal of Jewett School of the Arts, it is my pleasure to work with wonderful staff, students, parents, and community members. Our school works diligently to provide rich meaningful opportunities where students can develop all of their academic and artistic skills and talents.

We ask that our children show an immense amount of pride and commitment to their school family and school campus. Additionally, we ask that each child be serious about his/her job as a learner, teammate, and friend. We talk about how important it is to be a good listener, to be considerate, respectful, and give 110% each and every day. Students are encouraged to be the kind of person that they would want for a friend themselves…kind, honest, helpful, caring, and friendly. Finally, we ask that students arrive promptly each day, ready to work and willing to learn.

Thank you to staff, students, parents, and the entire community, for your care and support of our school. You continue to play a vital role in the educational process and success of our students.

Working together as a team, we will all accomplish more.

Partners in Education,

Tracy J. Nelson,  Ed.D.
