JSA is proud to be an "A" School again!!
We are excited to begin the new school year with a new
administrative team.
Dr. Tracy Nelson has been with JSA for five
years as an Assistant Principal and is looking forward to
leading the school as the new Principal. She is a firm believer
in the personal, academic, and artistic success of each and
every student. As our leader, she will work diligently with her
staff to make this a reality.
Joining her is Mrs. Kathy Raub, Assistant
Principal of Curriculum. Mrs. Raub has extensive leadership
experience outside the classroom and has been with the Polk
County Schools for 18 years.
Dr. Alonzo Williams Jr. has rejoined the
JSA family as our Assistant Principal of Administration. Dr.
Williams' former experience includes working with both
Elementary and Middle School students. He returns to us from
Denison where he served as a Dean of Students.

Cash at School
In an effort to reduce the circulation of
counterfeit
U.S.
monies, the school district will no longer accept any $50 or
$100 bills at any school-sponsored events. We apologize for any
inconvenience, but ask that you support this initiative. Please
plan accordingly when you attend our events. Thank you.
Seat Belt Reminder.....
Please remember it is now state law that
anyone under 18 years old must wear a seat belt or be restrained
by a child car seat. All passengers in the front seat of a car
or truck, regardless of age, must wear a seatbelt.
It’s a fact that seatbelts save lives. That is
why our state has made it a law to wear your seatbelt.
Always remember to buckle up. If your parents, brothers, sisters
and
friends get in a hurry, help them remember to buckle up too.
