If you would like to sign-up for the weekly email Week-At-A-Glance, please contact the Title 1 Office at KHS (863)499-2655 ext. 269. The Week-At-A-Glance is a much more in-depth look at what is happening at KHS that week and what important events are coming up. It is sent every Friday and lists the daily lunch menu choices, sports games, academic news, testing schedules, college information, and events happening the following week.

Freshman Study Hall

Each week, KHS will open the Freshman Academy Media Center on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6:15 a.m. until first bell for Freshman Study Hall. This is open to any freshman looking for a quiet place to study, read, or complete assignments. A staff member will be present to assist students with questions. Please encourage your 9th graders to attend.

First Time Driver Traffic School

All first time drivers in the State of Florida are required to take the Drug Alcohol Traffic Awareness (DATA) course before applying for their license. With the DATA Course and Learners Permit Exam you will have access to complete your DHSMV required course and learner's permit license exam online.

This course is required for all first-time drivers before applying for a license. A portion of the registration fee is donated to Kathleen High School!

Tutoring Available After School

Thanks to Title I Funding, KHS now offers after school tutoring to all students at our Main Campus and at CFAA. All sessions are open to any KHS students, and there is no need to sign up in advance.  For more information click here or call our Title I Office at (863)499-2655 ext 269. We hope to see you there!

Trident Yearbook

The 2011-2012 Trident Yearbook is on sale. Yearbook prices will continue to rise as we get closer to the end of the year! Students can buy theirs in the cafeteria during either lunch period or they may also be purchased at www.yearbookordercenter.com.

KHS Announces Sports Medicine Career Academy

Beginning the 2011-2012 school year, Kathleen High will be offering Freshmen and Sophomores the opportunity to join the Sports Medicine Academy. Students will have the opportunity to earn college credits, become an intern or extern at a sports organization, receive personal trainer certification and experience several field trips. Students will study nutrition, workout routines, strength training, marketing, sports law and administrative principles.
