8th Grade: CHOICES
This week your child has registered for CHOICES which is a requirement for promotion to 9th grade. The program allows students to get ready for High School by: identifying careers that match their interests, plan their high school courses, start looking into postsecondary plans and create a personalized career list. Each student was given a bookmark to write their login ID on and use their lunch number as their password. This is so parents and students can research this website together and use this tool for the next four years throughout high school. This week students took the interest inventory test and researched various careers as part of their Social Studies curriculum. Please ask your child about this and go online to www.flchoices.org
