Vision of Laurel Elementary:
The Laurel Elementary School vision is to create a school in
which a progressive leadership team and involved parents
support high-performing teachers who utilize a variety of
high-yield strategies, teach a rigorous and relevant
curriculum, build relationships with students and families,
and establish and maintain a safe and orderly environment to
maximize student achievement, while nurturing students to
become responsible citizens who contribute to the success of
their community.

La visión de la Escuela Elemental Laurel es de crear una
escuela en donde un equipo con liderazgo progresivo y el
envolvimiento de los padres ayuden a nuestros muy
capacitados maestros en la utilización de una variedad de
estrategias. , aplicar un riguroso e importante currículo de
estudios, construir un ambiente donde se maximice los logros

- Note to Parent’s: Instruction begins
promptly at 7:45am.
- Students must be in attendance at
school at least 50% of the day for it
not to count as an absence. 50% of the
day would be from 7:45 to 11:15 or
11:15to 2:45. So a parent cannot bring
their child to school and check them out
before 11:15. If they do that child will
be counted absent. And if they bring
them in late, they must be here before
11:15 in order to be counted present.
- 3 late unexcused tardies are counted
as one unexcused absent. Also, 3
unexcused early checkouts will be
considered an unexcused absence.
- Volunteers please remember to sign
in and out on the workstation to the
left of the main counter.
Important Information
In an effort to reduce the circulation
of counterfeit
U.S.
monies, the school district will no longer accept any
$50 or $100 bills at any school-sponsored events. We
apologize for any inconvenience, but ask that you
support this initiative. Please plan accordingly when
you attend our events. Thank you.
