Our students rocked the stadium and for the 5th consecutive year earned STRAIGHT SUPERIOR ratings and straight A's from the judges! Congratulations to the mighty Panther Band on their hard work and dedication that led them to an exceptional performance.

Outstanding performers were Cadet Jasniqua Williams, County Champion in the Flex Arm Hang, and Cadet Martin Ramos, County Champion in Curl Ups. Congratulations to our JROTC! HOOAH!
Congratulations to Dalton Balestreri!
Dalton has been selected by MHS administrators, as well as the mathematics, science, and technology teachers, to be a District Sunshine State Scholars Finalist for Excellence in STEM. The Florida Sunshine State Scholars Program recognizes outstanding 11th grade students in the area of STEM with an interest in pursuing postsecondary education opportunities in Florida. Polk County will be selecting 2 Sunshine State Scholars for Excellence in STEM based on an essay submitted by each District Finalist. We wish Dalton the best of luck with his essay!
The WE3 Expo is a groundbreaking showcase that highlights Polk County's wide variety of school options. This year's Expo will be held Saturday, November 15th, at SUNnFUN. Mulberry High School will be represented with booths featuring our Culinary, Automotive, Business, and Agriculture programs. This is a free event, so come out and explore over 400 booths with information on Adult Education, AP, Career Centers and Technical Education, Dual Enrollment, and more!
Free and Reduced Price Meal Application
The School Nutrition Department will offer families the option of applying for free and reduced price meals through an on-line application. Paper applications will still be available for families who do not have internet access. On-line applications will greatly reduce the time that teachers and staff spend handling paper applications as well as the expense of printing. Most importantly, students will be approved for meal benefits much quicker.

Athletic Eligibility Forms
Preparticipation Physical Evaluation-EL2 and the Consent/Release from Liability Certificate-EL3. These two forms required by the FHSAA before a student-athlete can participate in any type of conditioning, workout, practices or contests are only available at each high school in the office of the athletic director. These two forms must be turned in directly to the Athletic Director. These forms contain additional statements which are specific to the School District of Polk County which require the signatures of the parent/guardian and student-athlete. For that reason, please do not download the EL2 and EL3 forms from the FHSAA website.
The MyPolkSchools Parent Portal
Parents can now access their student's information from any computer with an internet connection. The MyPolkSchools Parent Portal allows parents to check current grades, obtain immunization status, learn if their child had any recorded discipline or attendance issues throughout the day, check their child's current lunch account balance, and even see what their child purchased in the lunchroom - all before their child comes home from school.
