College Night for Senior Ag Students

As part of the USDA grant that we received, we are planning a college night for senior Ag students on December 3rd at Bartow High School. We will meet in the Ag building from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Supper will be provided to the participants. Representatives from ABAC and UF will speak about the transition from high school to college, what to do during the summer after graduation, scholarship availability, ACT and SAT tests, college housing, meal plan options, and entrance requirements.

New Sports Website!

Check out all of the latest information on ALL of our sports here at MHS. Schedules, driving directions, roster information, and more is now available on C2CSchools!

From the District Office

In an effort to reduce the circulation of counterfeit U.S. monies, the school district will no longer accept any $50 or $100 bills at any school-sponsored events. We apologize for any inconvenience, but ask that you support this initiative. Please plan accordingly when you attend our events. Thank you.

Relay for Life!

MHS will be participating in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life again this year, to be held April 30-May 1, at the high school. Relay For Life is a celebration of life in honor of those touched by cancer. This event raises funds for the ACS programs of research, education, advocacy, and service. This year, our team is dedicating our Relay to Mrs. Beth Athans, a former co-worker who lost her battle with cancer in August. If you would like to join our team or make a donation, please visit our website.

We are currently offering various NFL items (hats, jackets, t-shirts) for a small donation to the ACS. If you would like more information on this fundraiser or on the Relay, please email Ms. Nattkemper at or call her at 701-1104, ext. 241. Thanks for your support in the fight against cancer!
