PrincipalPrincipal: Michael Young

Mr. Young began teaching at Lecanto High School, Citrus County, Florida in 1991. In 1999, he became a Guidance Counselor at Sleepy Hill Middle School in Lakeland. He was the Assistant Principal for Curriculum at Mulberry Middle from 2005 and was appointed Principal the Summer of 2008. In the Summer of 2015, he was named the Principal of Mulberry High School. Mr. Young holds a B.A. degree from Southeastern University in English Education and M.Ed. degrees from the Univeristy of Southern Mississippi in School Counseling and the University of South Florida in Educational Leadership.

AP CurrActing Assistant Principal, Curriculum: Christine Thomas

The 2014-2015 school year is Mrs. Thomas' first as the Acting Assistant Principal of Curriculum and her fifth year at Mulberry High School. Previously at MHS, she was the Academic Dean (2011-2014) and the Title One Facilitator (2010-2011). Her entire career in education has been served in the Mulberry community, where she taught for fifteen years at Purcell Elementary prior to coming to MHS. Mrs. Thomas holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

AP AdmnAssistant Principal, Administration: Lori Leverett

The 2014-2015 school year will be Ms. Leverett's 31st year at Mulberry High School. She has served as the Assistant Principal of Administration since 2000. She previously served the MHS community for 12 years as a teacher and 5 years as the Dean of Students. Ms. Leverett holds a Masters in Education from the University of South Florida.
