Volunteering for Our School
Volunteers make our school a better place!
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at Pinewood, you must first fill out an online application and be approved by the district.
Because the security of our students is critical to the district, all volunteer applicants must undergo a background check before serving in our schools. In the past, the district has been able to assume the burden of that cost, but recent budget constraints now prevent that. First time volunteer applicants will pay a one-time, non-refundable fee of $25 for a Florida Department of Law Enforcement background check. Payment must be in the form of a money order (available for free at Wal-Mart) or a cashier’s check (available from your bank) and brought to the school where the application will be submitted. Some criminal charges can prevent applicants from being approved and are listed on the volunteer application, so that individuals can determine if approval is possible.
Click on the link below to become a volunteer.
Only approved volunteers are allowed to help on campus or chaperone field trips!

Family Night Out:
It is that
time again to start up with our “Family Night Out” fundraiser for the
2012-2013 school year. As in the
past, you must turn in the event flier at the restaurant with your receipt
to earn a percentage of the sale back to Pinewood.
A
few days before the event, we will send out the appropriate flier to remind
you and allow you to plan accordingly.
To help make this a little easier, we are including all of the
