Once
the students enter through the door of the science room, they are
encouraged to feel like real scientists! We practice using
scientific vocabulary everyday, and they are influenced to use it outside
the classroom too. In science lab students are involved with
hands-on science activities. We learn about weather, water cycle,
rock cycle, space, ecology, living things, habitats, systems of the human
body, force and motion, magnets, and many, many other topics related to
science. Students are also introduced to and learn how to use many
scientific instruments such as thermometers, scales, graduated cylinders,
and timers.
