Little Red Schoolhouse Award

The Little Red Schoolhouse Award is presented by the Florida Association of Elementary and Middle School Principals to inform fellow educators and the general public about outstanding educational programs in progressive schools. Only 20 outstanding programs are awarded statewide.

The award is given based on school-wide, on-going, unique and creative programs in which a majority of the students participate and can be adopted by other schools.

Florida School Recognition Award

Florida School Recognition Award – Awarded by the Florida Department of Education to schools with sustained high student performance on annual statewide assessments.

E-Team

E-Team – An arena of competition in which 5th grade students are challenged to display their knowledge of economic terms and concepts along with their knowledge in the core subject areas of language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. Six schools advance to the county championship for the final competition. Congratulations to Mrs. Benoit, Mrs. Hughes and the E-Team for coming in first place at the first round of competition January 29th, 2009. They will now move on to the semi-final competition.

CNN (Cougar News Network)

Our daily morning news program has received numerous awards during the annual district-wide video awards program. The submissions for these awards are judged by individuals and groups throughout the United States. Cleveland Court’s Cougar News Network has repeatedly received recognition for ” Best Daily New Show” in the Elementary School Division.

The Golden School Award

The Golden School Award is a state recognition. The award is given to recognize significant volunteer hours that have been contributed by parents and various members of the community to support efforts of the school.

Congratulations Mrs. Myers, Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year!

December 12th, 2008 a Wal-Mart Representative presented Mrs. Myers with a $100.00 gift card for her use and presented the school with a check for $1,000 on her behalf.

This is the 2nd year in a row that a Cleveland Court Teacher has received this honor. The award is based on parent submissions with narratives describing why this teacher should be recognized as teacher of the year. Mrs. Myers was nominated by an unknown parent who wrote very kind words about the difference Mrs. Myers had made in the life of their child.
