Vision
Countywide ESE is committed to high standards and excellence among students, staff, parents and community.
Mission
The Countywide ESE Learning Community will provide students with a safe and orderly environment rich with high academic and behavior standards that will ensure educational experiences necessary to transition back to their home school setting and/or society. We will prepare each student to become productive citizens.
New Student Information / Orientation
Students are staffed into Countywide ESE through the District Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Department. An ESE staffing will be held at the home school to determine placement and services based on the Individual Education Plan (IEP) as well as the committee's decision. Students transferring from out of the district will be enrolled based on most current IEP upon review of a placement committee. The committee will consist of but is not limited to a staffing specialist, senior manager and school based administrators.
- Once staffed, parents and students will be invited to the site for enrollment/orientation.
- Mandatory attendance by parent and child to complete the enrollment process and review school wide expectations is very important.
- Two proofs of address should be brought to the meeting in order to arrange transportation. It may take several days before the bus schedule goes into effect.
