Second Grade
Welcome to another great year at Crystal Lake Elementary School! Second grade is an exciting and productive year. During Second grade, your child will gain a deeper understanding of math. They will learn about place value through the thousands, count money, and apply a variety of measurement skills. In reading and writing, students will explore literature, read with more accuracy, and create persuasive and informative writing. In Science, students will be provided with hands on learning experiences. They will investigate matter, energy, motion, and much more. We look forward to a fantastic year with you and your child!
