Our Mission
Daniel Jenkins Academy is a school of choice with emphasis placed on
Florida Environmental Studies. We believe that it is necessary that students
understand the need to preserve Florida’s resources and environment
in order for the quality of life to continue in our state.
These environmental science classes put a strong emphasis on studying the waters surrounding our peninsula.
Bell Schedule
The school day for students begins at 8:40 a.m. and the
tardy bell rings at 8:45a.m. The
student day ends at 3:45 p.m.

We Need your Two Liter Bottles! Mrs Tuckers environmental Sciences Students will be building a Green house using only the two liter bottles. please bring your cleaned, rinsed out bottles to MRS Tuckers room.

Are students checking their grades online? YES! Students have been issued a username and password for Student Portal. Encourage your child to login to Student Portal to access, grades, library information, lunch balances, etc. They will automatically be logged in to online resources for Polk Schools. Students can log into Student Portal anytime of day or night from the Internet: https://student.mypolkschools.net
