Volunteers/Chaperones

Our volunteers are greatly appreciated here at Daniel Jenkins Academy. The security of our students is a primary concern. In order to work with our students or chaperone a field trip, you must be an approved volunteer. If you are approved with the school district, but need to be added to our school’s list, please contact our Terminal Operator, Julie Jenkins jewel.jenkins@polk-fl.net  so she can have you fill out an update card. You may also call our office at 421-3267.

The teacher in charge of each event or field trip will have specific information concerning chaperone information. A general rule: If you chaperone a field trip, you will not be allowed to bring additional children from your family as you will be supervising a group of Daniel Jenkins students.
