itinerary.

Day 1, April

4:30pmDepart Lakeland High School
5:00pmDepart for Washington, DC with dinner on your
own en route and driving through the night.
Day 2, May 1,
2008 (Thursday)
8:00am
Arrive in the DC area in
time for full American buffet breakfast at the Old Country Buffet.
9:00am
Smithsonian Mall (Smithsonian
Museum of Air & Space, National Gallery of Art, Smithsonian Museum to the American
Indian, and, if possibly the National Archives.)
5:00pmDinner at Pentagon City Mall
7:00pmNight tour with Jefferson and Franklin Delano Roosevelt
Memorials.
9:30pm Arrive at the hotel for check-in
Day 3, May 2,
2008 (Friday)
7:00amFull American buffet breakfast at the hotel and depart for
downtown and local touring of DC.
8:30amArlingtonNationalCemetery, including the
Kennedy Graves, Arlington House, the Tomb of the Unknowns with the Changing of the Guard,
Columbia & Challenger Space Shuttle Memorials, and much more.
11:00pm Lunch at the ReaganBuilding food court.
12:30pmWorld War II Memorial.
4:30pmDepart the hotel for DC with a brief stop at
the Iwo Jima Marine Corps Memorial en route.
6:00pmDinner at the Pentagon City Mall.
7:30pmNight touring of the monuments and memorials
including; KennedyCenter for the Performing Arts, Einstein Memorial, and the WashingtonMonument.
9:45pmArrive back at the hotel for the evening.
Day 4, May 3,
2008 (Saturday)
6:30amFull American buffet breakfast at the hotel.
7:15amBoard coaches and head for Winchester, Virginia
to stage for the Apple Blossom Festival Parade. Lunch
will be on your own in the area.
2:30pmAfter the parade time, the group will return to
the hotelget ready for the rest of the day.
NOTE:
Dependent on todays parade schedule and time permitting, the
group
will make a stop at the SmithsonianAir & SpaceMuseum Annex.
6:00pmDepart for the Washington Pier in DC.
7:15pmBoard cruise ship.
7:30pmSpirit of Washington dinner and dance cruise.
10:30pmCruise over; depart for hotel
11:30pmArrive back at the hotel.
Day 5, May 4,
2008 (Sunday)
8:00am Load luggage on buses and eat breakfast at the
hotel.
