Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year! Dundee Ridge Middle School envisions itself as a creative learning center of excellence. It is a vision of an educational institution where students are highly valued and encouraged to explore and master a broad spectrum of subjects to become responsible partners in their own education; where teachers are fully supported and empowered in their efforts to be engineers for exploration and learning; where staff joins in this function and keeps channels of communication open; and where parents are mobilized to be supportive participants in this process. Moreover, it is a vision that seeks a healthy and nurturing environment for all.

During our Fall Book Fair Dr. Blackburn gave a challenge to the students. Students who purchased a book received a ticket to enter the Silly String contest. We had over 100 students purchase a book. Ten students were chosen from those entries to silly string Dr. Blackburn.
DRMS Soccer Team
Soccer
is the middle school sport for the 3rd nine weeks. We will be
competing against other middle schools on the east side of the county.
Boys and Girls home games will be played at the adjacent soccer fields on
the other side of the parking lot. For the complete schedule,
