PIV - Pinnacle Internet Viewer
What is it?
PIV - PIV is a browser application that allows you to view real-time information regarding your child's classes, grades or attendance whenever you want. All you need is a ten digit student ID number and a password.
Email Notification - Email Notification is a means to receive automated notification of your child's grades or attendance delivered directly to you via your email account. You can receive reports on a scheduled basis or triggered by specific events like an absence or a grade change.
Letter Notification - Letter Notification will allow the same reports and notification as the automated emails but you will receive a letter mailed to your home address.
How do you take advantage of these services?
Obtain an application from either the Attendance Office, the Guidance Department or print it from the DRMS website.

The parent/guardian can return it to the school in person with a picture ID or you can have the form notarized and return it by mail, with your student or in person to the school. For the PIV a password will be emailed or the parent can stop by the Guidance Department or office in person to obtain the password. For the Email and Letter Notifications, you will begin receiving your reports shortly after the forms are received by the school. All forms will be verified against the school records and the student's 2008-2009 Emergency Notification Card, which must be on file.
When accessing the PIV through the link at http://pinnacle.polk-fl.net/pinnacle/piv, you will need your child's ten-digit student ID number and the password provided to you from the school.
Why so much security?
We do not mean to create any inconvenience for you. Whereas we firmly believe that parents and students have an absolute right to the student's school information, we want to insure by every means possible that the information remains secure and private. The students may access their grades using the same password as the parents but only the parents may request changes to the service or a new password.
