classes. These are taught by Mrs. Anderson, Mrs.
Carrier, Mrs. Ammermann, Mrs. Bent and Ms. Ferretti.

Reading:
- Please read with your child everyday. Reading is an important skill that needs to be practiced daily. Make reading a part of your daily routine.
- Discuss with your child the books he/she has read. Ask questions and prompt your child to find the answers in the book.
- Let your child read to you. Children love to read to others, and it creates lots of excitement towards reading.
- Review your child’s vocabulary words each week.
Math:
- At the beginning of each chapter your child takes home a home-school connection newsletter. This page introduces topics that will be covered in the chapter, as well as ways to practice these skills at home.
- Please practice math facts with your child each night.
- Click here to visit the math text website. Your teacher has sent home your child's user name and password. If you need this information again, please send a note to your child's teacher. This website has the math textbook available online. There is also an intervention section with games, practice tests, and tutorials for different skills we are learning in class. Be sure to check back often, as your teacher adds new activities for you to practice!
