Floral Avenue School Lunch Information
Free and Reduced On-Line Application
The School Nutrition Department will offer families the option of applying for free and reduced price meals through an on-line application. Paper applications will still be available for families who do not have internet access. On-line applications will greatly reduce the time that teachers and staff spend handling paper applications as well as the expense of printing. Most importantly, students will be approved for meal benefits much quicker. Any student who is currently receiving free or reduced priced meals is approved for benefits for the entire 2012-2013 school year.

Floral Avenue Elem uses, "myLunchMoney," a new service to prepay for your student’s school breakfast, lunch and a la carte food items using your credit or debit card.

- student’s 6 digit ID number
- birth date

Polk County foodservice program has a nationally recognized reputation for providing quality meals with a high percentage of participation. Here is what is being prepared for lunch.
- Lunch Prices - Reduced: $0.40 Full: $1.80
- Breakfast Prices - Reduced: $0.30 Full: $1.00
- Adult Lunch: $2.75

Parents are invited to have lunch with their children. Parents are requested not to bring food from restaurants for a student lunch or to share with their children.

Only persons listed on the student's emergency card with proper picture I.D. will be allowed to eat lunch with the student.
