Frostproof Lion's Club Peace Poster Contest
Congratulations to 6th grader Jessica Garza on winning the Frostproof Lion's Club Peace Poster Contest. Her poster was selected out of many outstanding entries from Frostproof students. The posters were judged by a panel of teachers from all grade levels and disciplines. The theme this year was "The Power of Peace". Jessica's winning poster expresses this theme in a creative and artistic way. The artist used poster paints and colored pastels to create her work. Jessica will receive the $50 prize and be eligible for the county competition. Once again, congratulations to Jessica and all the students who contributed their talent to this year's contest. Good luck, Jessica!
