Transportation Changes Due to Construction

Due to construction on Lakeland Highlands Road, students will not walk or ride their bikes to or from school until further notice. Bus transportation will be provided to students who live within walking distance of our school.

Summer Office Closing

The HGE office will be closed from July 19th-28th and will reopen on July 29th.

Highlands Grove is an "A" school!

We are so proud of our students and teachers for achieving a grade of "A" for the 2008-2009 school year. School grades are given by the state based on scores received on the FCAT for reading, math, science, and writing. Our school has also made AYP (adequate yearly progress)!

Pre-K Registration

Registration is continuing for Pre-K. Applications are available in the school office. Questions regarding Pre-K should be directed to the district's PreK office at 648-3046.

School Uniforms

School uniform shirts are available throughout the school year for $7.00 each.

August - September Events

• Aug 16th:  First day for teachers
• Aug 19th:  Student Orientation Day; Para Educators first day
• Aug 23rd:  First day of school for students
• Sept 6th:   No School; Holiday
• Sept 20th: No School for Students/ Paras
