SAC Meeting & Parent Night - February 5, 2015
Parents, Staff and Community
We would like to invite you to attend our upcoming School Advisory Council (SAC) meeting. The meeting will be held on Thursday, February 5th from 5:30-6:30 pm in the Main Media Center. Please stay for KHS Parent night immediately following the SAC meeting from 6:30-7:30.
PERT Test - February 11-12, 2015
We will be PERT testing on Wednesday, February 11th and Thursday, February 12th. Any students who want to take the PERT can sign up on the bulletin board outside Mrs. Thacker's door in the main office. We have limited space for testing, so sign up early. The deadline to sign up will be Friday, January 30th.
Financial Aid Night - February 23, 2015
Financial Aid Parent Night will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 6:00 pm in the main Media Center on main campus. A representative from the Florida Department of Education will be here to assist parents with filling out the FAFSA and answer questions regarding financial aid. Sports Celebration - February 5, 2015
On Thursday morning in the cafeteria, 2/5/15, FCA will hold a sports celebration for all the Winter Sports athletes and the KHS Marching band members. FCA members, Boys JV and Varsity Basketball, Girls JV and Varsity Basketball, Boys JV and Varsity Soccer, Girls JV and Varsity Soccer, Wrestling, Cheer Squad competition members and Marching Band members will be invited to this celebration.
Club Picture Day & Senior Cap & Gown at CFAA
CFAA - Starting at 8:00 a.m.--Club Pictures will be taken on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. CFAA seniors: if you haven't had your Cap & Gown picture made, mark your calendar for 2/24/15. See Mrs. Anders for questions and/or more information.
Sophomore Class Meeting
Mark your calendar for Wednesday, February 18. Herff Jones will be available on the main campus to meet with 10th grade students at 8:00 a.m. in the auditorium. (This is an early release day.)
ASVAB - February 19, 2015
Students can sign up to take the ASVAB on the bulletin board outside Mrs. Thacker's door. The deadline to sign up is Friday, February 13, 2015.
Attention Seniors - Cap & Gown Order Extended
Cap and gowns can be ordered right up to graduation day, however, beginning March 1, 2015, there will be an additional $10.00 per month late fee added to the cost.

Student Parking - Main Campus
Students can pick up applications in the main office. Students must have a 2.0 GPA and the cost of the parking permit is $20.00.

Our KHS Media Center is open from 6:40 a.m. until first bell for Study Hall. This is open to any student looking for a quiet place to study, read, or complete assignments.
First Time Driver Traffic School
All first time drivers in the State of Florida are required to take the
Drug Alcohol Traffic Awareness (DATA) course before applying for their
license. With the DATA Course and Learners Permit Exam you will have access
to complete your DHSMV required course and learner's permit license exam
This course is required for all first-time drivers before applying for a license. A portion of the registration fee is donated to Kathleen High School!
