Use the "schedule your appointment" link to find Kathleen High School. Portraits will be taken at KHS by appointment only. Your session will take approximately 30 minutes.)

Homecoming Dance Tickets

Tickets for the 2014 Homecoming Dance are on sale during lunches in the café. Obligations must be cleared prior to purchasing tickets. Guests need an approved visitor application. Dress code policies are provided with ticket purchase. Ticket price: Sept 18-26 $25, Sept 29-30 $30, Oct 1 and Oct 3 $35, Oct 4 $40. (Sorry $50s and $100s are not accepted.)

Homecoming Week Activities

Monday - Camo Dress Up
Tuesday - Twins Dress Up
Wednesday - Wacky Tacky Dress Up
Thursday - Jungle Activity and Dress up Day. Skits 2nd Period Freshman and Sophomore
Skits 3rd period for juniors, seniors, CFAA.
4th period Safari Shootout for students who have the wristband passes.
6th period-Voting at start of class.
Friday-Red Devil Spirit Dress Up Day. 7:30pm-Kick Off for Homecoming Game. Announce King and Queen at half time.

Skills USA Meeting - 9/30/14

On Sept 30, the SkillsUSA club will meet after school in room 10-106 to assist in preparing members for their career fields and also to identify potential competition in their chosen fields. This is a very important meeting- we need to have all members available at 2:10 for this meeting.

SmilePak Weekend Meal Program English Request  Spanish Request

Parents, we are proud participants of the Agape Food Bank program again this year. We distribute food filled backpacks to KHS families with a need. If you know of someone who could benefit from this program, please share the above link. Request form should be submitted to Mrs. Hicks  kim.hicks@polk-fl.net  or you can have your child return the form to the main office.

The Kathleen Spark is sent every Friday during the school year and lists the daily lunch menu choices, sports games, academic news, testing schedules, college information, and events happening the following week. Media Center

Our KHS Media Center is open  from 6:40 a.m. until first bell for Study Hall. This is open to any student looking for a quiet place to study, read, or complete assignments.

First Time Driver Traffic School

All first time drivers in the State of Florida are required to take the Drug Alcohol Traffic Awareness (DATA) course before applying for their license. With the DATA Course and Learners Permit Exam you will have access to complete your DHSMV required course and learner's permit license exam online.

This course is required for all first-time drivers before applying for a license. A portion of the registration fee is donated to Kathleen High School!
