Think Recycle
Think Recycle
We are excited to announce that Lake Alfred Elementary has become a part of the Think Recycle program. This environmental fundraiser will help bring the importance of recycling to the forefront, while allowing the school to earn much needed funds.
Students, parents, and staff can collect inkjet cartridges, laser cartridges, and cell phones and bring them to school. For every 12 qualifying items we send in, Think Recycle will sponsor the planting of a tree through their partnership with American Forests and The Tree Canada Foundation.
It's a recycling program that's good for YOU and the ENVIRONMENT!!!

The CDC recommends some simple precautions to reduce the risk of contracting or spreading any type of virus:
--1. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
--2. Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.
--3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth as this spreads germs.
--4. Stay home and limit contact with others if you are sick.

Bullying is (1) unwanted negative behavior that is (2) repeated and (3) causes an imbalance of power. Bullying and harassment is further defined in the Polk County School Code of Conduct.
