Principal: Mrs. Stangle

Principal. Vicki Stangle is the principal and in her fourth year as a school principal. She graduated from Polk Community College with an Associate’s degree, the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and from Saint Leo University with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Her Florida teaching certificate lists the areas of Elementary Education 1-6, Music Education K-12, and Educational Leadership. She has twenty years of classroom teaching experience in grades 4-6 and seven years of experience as an administrator. This experience includes tutoring struggling students in extended learning programs, teacher training and monitoring, and implementing school-wide strategies resulting in improving her former school’s grade and making AYP in all subgroups. As principal of Lake Shipp Elementary, her expectations and those of her staff are to review data, determine instructional needs to meet the school improvement goals, and to raise student achievement in all areas for each subgroup.

Assistant Principal: Ms. Camp

Donna Camp is in her fourth year as Assistant Principal at Lake Shipp Elementary. She attended Warner Southern College for her undergraduate work and she attended the University of South Florida where she received her teacher certification and her Master’s degree. She has classroom experience in grades 1 and 5. She also has served as a teacher trainer.
