Lakeland Highlands Middle School is pleased to announce the availability of the Pinnacle Internet Viewer/ Email Notification Service to our parents and students. 

Pinnacle Internet Viewer (PIV) redefines home-to-school connectivity. Real-time grade reporting means no more waiting for semester, weekly, or even daily teacher reports or file downloads!  Changes or additions to student information are available instantly to both parents and students.  Teachers enter grade information into their electronic gradebook and PIV organizes and formats the data for convenient viewing at any time, day or night.

The Excelsior Pinnacle system acts as a firewall, ensuring the security of all student information. Now parents and students can be actively engaged in the education process by monitoring progress, missing assignments, and attendance information.

Parents, please be advised that the Pinnacle Internet Viewer is a service allowing parents view-only access student’s performance.  These reports are up-to-date up to the point of data entry from the teachers.  When a child completes and submits an assignment, the teacher needs time to grade and record these assignments in the gradebook.  Once the grade is recorded, that is when it will be present in the Pinnacle Internet Viewer not upon receipt of the assignment.  A period of time needs to be given to teacher to allow the grading and recording procedures to be complete. 

Additionally, now parents and educators can be informed immediately of truancy, missed assignments, discipline events, low grades, or changes in eligibility status with the Email Notification System.

The form will open in a PDF file that you can print, complete, and have notarized.  Please return complete form to school and you will receive a username and password via email for your Pinnacle Internet Viewer Access.
