Cougar's Mark
Lakeland Highlands Middle School has its own newspaper, The Cougar's Mark. The Cougar's Mark staff has students from grades 6-8 working in different departments, i.e., editors, reporters, production and circulation. Reporters receive assignments in class and must them conduct interviews and take pictures for each article.
This year The Cougar’s Mark is actually done on newsprint paper. If you would like to purchase a copy of the October/November 2008 issue, stop by Mrs. Torres’ room (143). The cost is $1.25 per issue. (Each issue will consist of a $5 or $10 coupon to Plato’s closet.)
Delivery dates for the rest of the year
December/January issue set to be delivered January 15
February/March issue set to be delivered March 15
April/May issue set to be delivered May 15
