Lakeland Highlands Middle School

Math Counts

Lakeland Highlands Middle School has a math competition team called Math Counts. This competitive team solves real-world problems created by engineers. The competition is in February where a team of 4 students compete against other school teams in Polk County. Four additional students attend the competition and all 8 students take a test to compete for top rankings in the county. This team practices every week, twice a week.
