Stage Stars Drama Club
Lakeland Highlands Middle School has its own Drama Club--The Stage Stars Drama Club. This club is open to all grade levels and serves to foster an interest in the performing arts. We meet every other Thursday morning at 8:20 AM. in the auditorium. Our meetings consist of improvs, drama games, and the sharing of club members' talents. We often take field trips to view plays or attend other related activities. Our group also has club T-shirts that are proudly worn on these occasions and meeting days. Our main fund raiser and activity is sponsoring the 8TH Grade Talent Show, "A CLASS ACT". 8th grade members are often contestants and the other members do publicity and other behind the scenes jobs.
