Lakeland Highlands Middle School was established in 1975 and is located in Southwest Lakeland just off South Florida Avenue. The school is an A+ school that incorporates a modified block schedule servicing students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Students are scheduled in 6 classes and a reading class. Class attendance is based on Silver and Gold tracks that alternate each day. Students attend reading class every day.

Accelerated Studies Program-6th Grade
Lakeland Highlands offers an Accelerated Studies Program to those students who are highly motivated, as well as, those students who are being served through the gifted program. Enrollment is limited and there is an application process. All applications are due May15th. Please join us for an informational meeting on April 28th at 6:00pm in the school Media Center.
