- ACT has provided an online College Planning Guide and a Checklist that students should follow.
- ACT also provides a monthly newsletter to help guide your kids through middle and high school toward college and a career. You can sign up for this newsletter on the ACT website by following the link above. October's issue featured: Homework Motivation Tips, A College Planning Timeline, A Financial Aid Need Estimator, and Tools and Resources.
- Students should be applying for their Bright Futures Scholarships after December 1 of their SENIOR year. You can find out more information through the Department of Education
- Unfortunately, college can be lots of money! Help your student by applying for Financial Aid through FAFSA (the Federal Government)

- The U.S. Dept. of Education has launched a new website, www.college.gov, which provides relevant, comprehensive information about college and other postsecondary education programs.
