- Find out more information about Bright Futures...Be sure to apply starting December 1 of your SENIOR year. You can find more information through the Florida Department of Education.

Washington DC Youth Tour Youth Tour is an annual event held each summer. Approximately 1,500 students from around the US visit Washington DC and visit historical places of interest, learn about electric cooperatives and government, and meet with legislators. Click HERE for more information.
Florida A and M University is providing an outstanding opportunity for Black women entering college in the fall of 2009. It is designed to address their absence in the field of computer technology. Dr. Jason Black is the Principal Investigator of a recently awarded $552,000 NSF Grant entitled African-American Women in Computer Science. The grant provides scholarships from $3,000 to $5,000 per semester for female African American students. Please see Ms. Estridge for more information.

- Jan. 2 - priority application to be considered for Merit Scholarships at USF
- Jan. 21 - final application deadline for FSU (to be considered for Fall '09)
