Principal:
Patricia Barnes
The 2012-2013 school year will be Mrs. Barnes' fifth as Principal of Mulberry High School. She served as the Principal of Mulberry Middle School from 2000-2008. She has previously worked at Mulberry High School, serving as Assistant Principal (1996-2000) and Dean (1995-1996). She first came to Polk County in 1988, when she was a teacher at Kathleen Elementary.
Assistant
Principal, Curriculum: Edgar Santiago
The 2012-2013 school year will mark the second year at Mulberry High School for Mr. Santiago. Mr. Santiago began his teaching career in 2000 at Mulberry Middle School. In 2003, he was a Spanish teacher at Lake Gibson High School. In January 2007, he became Dean of Students at Mulberry Middle School and in the summer of 2008, appointed Assistant Principal. Prior to working in education, Mr. Santiago served in the United States Army as an Infantry Officer.
Assistant
Principal, Administration: Lori Leverett
The 2012-2013 school year will be Ms. Leverett's 29th year at Mulberry High School. She has served as the Assistant Principal of Administration since 2000. She previously served the MHS community for 12 years as a teacher and 5 years as the Dean of Students. Ms. Leverett holds a Masters in Education from the University of South Florida.
