The Computer Programs We Use:Thank you to the following company for providing educational software for our graphic and web design projects:
Many of the other programs we currently use are freeware; meaning there is no cost to download and use them. This is to help all students stay on top of their skills when they're out of the classroom. The following programs are free: Graphic Design -
Artweaver-

Classroom Technology Use PoliciesUSB Flash Drives- All students are highly encouraged to bring their own flash drive to class in order to save a copy of all their work. A minimum of 1 GB is best to be sure there is enough space on the flash drive to save all of the work.
Classroom RulesAcademic Honesty- Any student caught cheating will receive an automatic 0% F, and a call home. Repeated violations will result in the school's progressive discipline policies. Students are assigned a computer to use. They may not touch any other computers in the classroom for any reason without the teacher's permission. Students may NOT change any settings on any computers in the graphic design lab. The computers are the property of the school, and they have been set up with specific settings to ensure all programs work at optimum performance. Only websites approved by the teacher, that have educational value, will be able to be accessed in the Graphic Design Lab. Students may not deface or damage the computers, computer equipment, or anything else in the graphic design lab. This includes the work of other students. There is to be NO FOOD, DRINKS, or GUM at all in the computer lab. This includes sunflower seeds, which are prohibited items on campus. The computers are very expensive, and we cannot afford to have them damaged. This rule is strictly enforced. No running. Stay seated until you have permission to leave your seat. Raise your hand and wait to be called before talking. Do not talk during instruction. |
