Mission Statement:
At Oscar J. Pope
Elementary, we believe that all can and will learn. We expect everyone
to work together, respect themselves and each other and to learn the
skills that are taught.
School Vision
Description:
Oscar J. Pope Elementary will
have support from the staff, parents, and the community. Our
students will be successful and will be actively involved in purposeful,
hands on activities. Our teachers will be enthusiastic and all
classrooms will present a warm and inviting atmosphere where the love of
reading and writing is consistently encouraged. Learning experiences
that involve critical thinking and problem-solving will be evident.
Technology will be used to help students access knowledge and to
experience the skills necessary for the workforce. Our campus will
offer a safe and orderly environment for all. School rules will be
demonstrated by all students. Staff members and transportation staff
will be seen reinforcing those rules in a positive manner.
