Media Center

Welcome to the R. Bruce Wagner Elementary Media Center. We are open from 7:45am -3:30pm daily. Both students and parents are always welcome.
We promote reading to the students and want them to enjoy books from all genres. The Media Center has a wide variety of books for every grade level.

 

The Accelerated Reading Program is a vital part of our school.  AR books, as well as quizzes, are available for our students. We also provide some voice recorded tests for our younger readers.

By accumulating AR points, students can earn the following:

K-2nd 3rd-5th Reward
5 5 Bookmark
10 10 Book charm and backpack chain (for each 10 points)
15 20 Pencil
20 30 Name on Star Reader Board in Media Center
25 40 Homework Pass and "Glow in the Dark" book charm
35 50 Name on RBW electronic bulletin board
45 70 Lunch with a friend at the yellow tables for a week
55 90 Interviewed on WKPN
65 110 Office Helper
75 130 Special Lunch
