PTA Volunteering
Workers and volunteers are needed. If you are interested in
volunteering, please e-mail Gretchen Ceranic at
PTA0191@polk-fl.net or leave a message in the office at (863)
701-1450.
To become a
volunteer:
Once
you are an approved volunteer, follow these procedures to volunteer
during school hours:

Check in at the front
office.

Receive a visitors
sticker to wear while on campus.

Volunteer!

Return to the front
office and log your volunteer time on the "Volunteer Computer" at
the front counter.
If
you volunteer time at home or outside of the school day, please be sure
to register your volunteer hours on the "Volunteer Computer" in the
office on your next school visit.

Bruce Wagner has been recognized each year with the "Golden School
Award" for outstanding volunteer service. Please help us continue
the tradition.

Elementary?
be a volunteer at home or at school
ask your child's teacher how you can be of assistance
conduct a 5th grade Communication Workshop in the spring
mentor/tutor a child during the
school day
reinforce learning at home, encourage the value of homework
join PTA
ask to help out, even if no one personally asks you
volunteer for the benefit of all children, not just yours
offer to work in the library, computer lab, office or lunchroom
bring a program to school
ask your community business how they can help R. Bruce Wagner
be a coordinator of an activity
be a worker bee - serve on a committee
demonstrate a positive attitude to our children during and after school
offer to run errands
assist with PTA fundraisers and bookfairs
stay involved with your children; be supportive of their efforts and encourage them to do their best
There is so much more we can do as a PTA. Please

and ideas already in place. We need you and you are valuable to
