PTA at RBW

The goals of the R. Bruce Wagner PTA are to promote learning for all students and to bring families together for exciting, educational programs and activities.

Please feel free to contact any board member.  We encourage all teachers, parents, grandparents, and community businesses to join our RBW PTA.  This is how you can be a part of the larger voice for children and education in Florida and nationally.

What does PTA do for RBW?

• supports exciting learning celebrations and programs relating to communication (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking and Thinking)
• collects Box Tops for school money
• encourages a fun learning environment
• rewards Wagner Whiz Kids for Honor Roll achievements
• Tote-a-Task allows working parents to assist in daily classroom support
• appreciates our staff, teachers and students
• sends newsletters/flyers/information home to parents
• produces a yearbook of memories focusing on our students and staff
• coordinates assistance in the library, office, classroom and for school wide events
• Book Fairs offer a variety of interesting books for children and families
• family activities including Family Book Fair night, Dollar Dinner Nights for Families
• assists with 5^th grade Communication Workshops
• works with community businesses to support our school
• coordinates school pictures
• works with volunteer organizations to teach our children the value of volunteering
• assists with Student Led Portfolio Night
• coordinates Spring Fling in May
