General Information

4 Teen Parent Program students earn credits toward a high school diploma.

4 The Polk County school calendar is followed.

4 Courses are according to grade level, learning ability, and personal needs.

4 A Teen Parent student may remain in the program for the entire school year.

4 On-site child care is available.

4 Transportation for the teen parent student and child is provided by Polk County School Board.

4 Parenting and child development classes are provided.

4 Services of a social worker and nurse are available.

How To Enroll

The Ridge Teen Parent Program has intake days at the beginning of each nine-week period. Students should register in the guidance office at their home school. All paper-work for intake must be in the Teen Parent Office the previous week prior to enrollment.
