Code of Conduct and Other School Policies
Bullying
Bullying has been defined as continual written, verbal, or physical behavior, including any threatening, insulting, or dehumanizing gesture, by an adult or student, that is severe or pervasive enough to create an intimidating, hostile, or offensive educational environment; cause discomfort or humiliation; or unreasonably interfere with the individual's school performance or participation.
Before you identify a behavior as bullying ask yourself these helpful questions:
- Is there an imbalance of power?
- Is the behavior repeated?
If you feel like your child is being bullied please print out a bullying referral and submit it to the office at your earliest convenience.

Attendance Policies
Regular school attendance plays a key role in your child’s future. Each time a student is absent or tardy from class they miss important instruction and assignments.
Important information about attendance:
- You must submit a doctor’s excuse in order for your child’s absence to be marked excused once s/he has missed 10 days.
- 5 tardies or early dismissals count as 1 unexcused absence
- The child must be present more that 50% of the day to be counted as present.
