Sheriff Grady Judd at The Roc

Sheriff Judd was at Tenoroc High School on Friday, May 8th, for Prom Promise. The main point of Prom Promise is to find a way to remind the students how important it is to not drink and drive during the Prom or End of the Year graduation parties.

Juniors and Seniors will hear from Sheriff Judd, as well as MADD Speakers, and participate in a simulation activity that shows students how alcohol impairs their judgment. After hearing the speakers in the auditorium on Friday the students will have the opportunity to sign the Prom Promise Pledge:

I want to live, laugh, listen to great music and dance. I want to have an absolutely unimaginably great time at the prom. The day after I will relive it hour by hour with my friends I want to remember it all – all of it. I will not use alcohol or other drugs at the prom.

The SGA appreciates all of the help from the administration and teachers with the Titan Promise.  We had 234 students sign the promise to not drink and drive!!!
