Thursday, Jan. 14- Financial Aid Night, 7 PM, Tenoroc Auditorium For Seniors and their parents to obtain information regarding the Financial Aid process. Kay Noble from the County Office will be here to help parents understand this extremely important process. Underclassmen and their parents are also welcome to attend.
Florida Bright Futures Scholarships 2010
The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program has helped more than
379,000 Florida students attend a postsecondary institution. The program
offers three levels of scholarship awards. It is your job to know and meet
the requirements of the FBFSP before high school graduation and throughout

Financial Aid
Seniors and their parents should complete the FAFSA form in January as soon as their 2009 income tax return is finished
Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and choose the 2009-2010 worksheet and application.

Community Service & Summer Jobs
Volunteer Opportunities:
A number of volunteer opportunities are now available- Check in College & Careers!
All summer volunteer hours are to be turned in to Mrs. Fryzel by September in order to get service credit.
Check the county website, PCSB, for community service information.
Reminder: Turn in your community service application and agency forms before starting your hours to make sure hours will be approved. All students should continue to turn in their community service hours throughout the semester to Mrs. Fryzel in College & Careers. A list of current accumulated hours are posted on the board in the Guidance area. Check to see if yours are included.

Florida Bright Futures
Seniors may begin applying for Bright Futures in December.
Beginning with 2002 graduates, students apply for a Bright Futures Scholarship by submitting a completed Florida Financial Aid Application during their last year in high school. Seniors may now apply online.
